  • Wonderful, committed music. Very moving. Long live the diversity of human cultures!

  • Many thanks for this. After searching for 30yrs today I found this track again. Such fire and inspiration for the celtic peoples wherever they may be. Just beautiful, I'm in tears.

  • At 1:14 the instrument is called a bombarde or in the U.S., bombard. Named that because they were often used in pipe and drum corps to lead soldiers into battle. Some say, humorously, that it bombards the ears. They are a double reed instrument that looks like a small oboe with a bell on the end. Small but quite loud. I think of them as an oboe with a bad attitude. Look up fest noz or other Stivell works on YouTube to get lots more music using this instrument.

  • @michaeljac82 Moi aussi! C'est Bombarde - the Breton pipe.

  • Can anyone tell me what instrument kicks in at 1.14 - 1.16 please? I want one

  • Vive la Normandie libre!

Cachetaez derryire vos eul hus euls horsains jacobins!

    Basse-Normandie + Haute-Normandie + La Normandie Insulaire (Guernsey +Jersey) = 1 Normandie

  • @Alex7BR
