MetroQuest can easily be configured to engage the public in any planning process. In this project, Michael Baker Corporation designed a MetroQuest configuration to collect community input in the second phase of a corridor planning process.
In this configuration the public begin by learning about the project and ranking the priorities that were identified by the community in the first phase of the project,
Then they explore alternative scenarios for the corridor and see how they impact their top priorities. Once they've identified their preferred scenario, they can offer more detailed feedback on that scenario by dragging markers and leaving comment right onto the corridor plan
And finally they can learn about other ways to participate and tell planners a bit about themselves.
The input collected allowed planners to hone in on a preferred scenario and fine tune it based on a wealth of community feedback.
MetroQuest -- engagement made easy.
