Oh and get this, when I returned to get them to re-repair my dodgily repaired keyboard, they stung me by saying 'oh your warranty is over so we can't help you'... Definitely contact Mac. Customer Service as they seem very unhappy with Flinders Street and will look into your case. The girl helping me has been fantastic and is insistent on not only getting my $100 back but also getting my keyboard repaired properly. I'll keep you all posted as to the final outcome!
They've ripped me off too. The staff r miserable- their repair center next door r even worse! I paid $100 dep. towards extending my warranty for my laptop (all I had spare at the time) then as agreed, returned 3 weeks later 2 find that they wouldn't let me pay the remainder owing- they also refused 2 give me back my $100!!! I've contacted Mac Cust. Service who r investigating this n also crap repairs (my keyboard is worse than before it got repaired!) These guys r obviously dodgy so be warned...
Today MyMac Melbourne told me to go F&*k myself!!! Really!!!!
I left my business and drove a 2 hour round trip after they told me over the phone they had software that I needed.
But they didnt have it - or, rather, they just couldn't 'find it'.
When I complained abiout my wasted time, lost business and costs I was told to F#$% myself.
No-one should deal with these idiot losers
