I found this video from Nelson Racing Engines. It is a Chevy 4.3 V6 with twin turbos, 24lbs of boost, and produces 1204hp on this run. See, domestics can make a goodd 6 banger too!

thay will atlast almost anything and pull with the big dogs only issue ive ever had with mine is the trannys are not tuff enough for the power these lil engines can put out

@tobor642 nobody ever built one to do it yet but some one will. The performance market is coming out with a lot of stuff for these motors now. I recelty found a stroker kit for this motor

I will take a 3.8 Buick any day over the Chevy 4.3. More performance parts, more horsepower, more reliability when built by someone who knows how to build a Buick.. 1000 HP is common and 1500+ HP is not uncommon from the Buick motors.. Ever see that from a Chevy V6??

@SCBianchi GM made 3 V6 engines from this basic design: 200 ci, 229ci (the 305 minus two cylinders) and the 262 or 4.3(the 350 minus two cylinders) I don't get where you say "As much as people like to say these are 350s with two cylinders missing" It's not a matter of "like to say" its a matter of fact. And further more the 4.8 is based on later LS1 gen III v8 technology and has nothing to do with a 350, much less share its bore. "belief" and "fact" are two different things.

What do you think a chevy 4.3l v6 is? It's a 350 with two cylinders cut off... Same pistons and everything. You can even do the math, 350/8=43.75 cubes per cylinder, multiply by 6 and you get 262.5 cubes for a six, which equals 4.3 liters and hello S10.
