Most NHL goons have/had drug and alcohol problems. It's good money but a tough way to live, knowing you've gotta fight to keep your job and that no matter what you've got to keep doing it because hockey's all your cut out for. Plus the real fear of getting hurt badly. No wonder so many of the fighter types end up in the NHL substance abuse program.
Perrott has always had drug problems. Maple Leafs got fed up with him missing practice and getting stoned all the time. He works at a tire repair shop in Whitby.
Man, Nathan Perrott, this guy came into the league, had some dandy fights, won a few events at the leafs skills competition, and then disappeared. Whatever happened to this guy?

Ooooo, the KML. Wow, that must be a huge jump from the NHL. Put down the pipe, Nathan. Get back to your real job bagging groceries for crack money.
