Why not just have a team of people in the village that does all of the recycling?

If we don't have any issues buying assorted goods, I don't think we should logically see anything wrong in assorting our waste.
The presumption that doing so is a waste of time is because we've been neglecting that duty for so long. It's like telling a lifelong addict that he has to change his ways - no matter what his personal opinions may be, the facts are the facts.
Regarding waste, the hard fact is that we are part of a cycle, not an assembly-line chain that we can keep dumping forever.

@pinkbull6 Do you mean "creating" more "jobs for the boys"?
Why do we need servants (paid or slaves...) to do our own work?
- Select thoroughly your garbage and you will end up picking products that will produce less garbage.

Well, I think they overdid it a bit. Not many people have the time for such detailed recycling (34 types???) in modern world today. However, it's better to overdo it than not do it at all... I support the idea!

@opetnaistommestu They select 34 types of recyclables... Great! This augment awareness and puts the pressure over production and packaging design.
In the near future we will have more rationality in the packaging.
We should base our choices on INFORMATION about what's inside de container, rather than on the sex appeal of the package.
