Rob Thomas Coming to the Theater at Xcel Energy Center Oct. 11

AT THE THEATER AT XCEL ENERGY CENTER OCT. 11 SAINT PAUL, Minn. Xcel Energy Center and JAM Productions announced today that multiple Grammy-winning singer/songwriter Rob Thomas with special guests OneRepublic and Carolina Liar will perform at the Theater at Xcel Energy Center on Sunday, October 11 at 7 p.m. Tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 18 at the Xcel Energy Center Box Office, all area Ticketmaster locations, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. The new tour, dubbed "Cradlesong Tour '09," is Thomas' second full-fledged solo tour and the first in support of his new release "Cradlesong." It is the follow-up to Thomas' record-setting solo album, "...Something to Be," which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard chart. The entire album is currently streaming free of charge through Rhapsody and VH1's "The Leak." Thomas has written and performed a remarkable string of hits, including Matchbox Twenty's "Push," "3AM," "If You're Gone," "Bent," "Real World," "Back 2 Good" and "Mad Season." His smash collaboration with Santana on "Smooth" earned Thomas three Grammy Awards. He has also worked with the likes of Willie Nelson, Mick Jagger and Marc Anthony. The tour will include special guests pop rockers OneRepublic and Swedish pop-inspired Carolina Liar.

This concert was top of the line....Carolina Liar opened up to get the night started right, then ONE REPUBLIC put on the show of a lifetime, and RT did his thing to top the night off. It was a great night
