The Yorkshire 3 Peaks from start to finish with hilarity and general epicness along the way. We were trying to do it under 10 hours, did we succeed? (Watch in HD)
Part 1 of 2. Date of walk: 27th August 2010.
A 25 mile circular challenge walk, the Three Peaks of Yorkshire normally starts and finishes at Horton-in-Ribblesdale, visiting the three highest peaks in Yorkshire - Pen-y-ghent (691m), Whernside (728m), and Ingleborough (723m) - in that order. The total climb is some 5,200 feet, and the footpaths can be very wet and boggy in some places (as we found out!).
Music used: City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra - The Fellowship (From "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring")
