  • hasnt a bad sound , it was just a wreck , when I picked it up , turntable seized , radio didnt work , cabinet was shithouse

  • Great looking restoration! I've got an SC console from that era that I found sitting in the rain on the side of the road a few years ago. It must be a bit older since it has the Armstrong FM band, AM presets and metal controls on the 4 speed turntable. I've seen a newer version of mine with the presets missing (as was typical after TV caught on).

  • Beautifully done! I have not seen on of those Webster-Chicago turntables in action since I was a child, except my parents had the version with the 'pusher' at the back. Great video, thanks for posting!
