@chitownzfinesthustla The legends say that Rome was founded by Romulus. There is no evidence to say if he did exist. What archaeology does support is that the settlements on the city's hills were consolidated into a city in the 8th century BC, so 753 BC is as good a date as any. The monarchy was overthrown in 509 BC by Lucius Junius Brutus, not Romulus.
