you guys have to realize that the cost is including labour..and just cuz you cant see it it doesnt mean the impact bars are not bent and deemed unsafe.

I had a crash last week where i crashed in a parked car with 60k/h, the damage was obvious and destroyed the aircondition system. The total repairing cost 400$ nothing more, and now the car looks better than before the the crash. I cant believe the bumper crash of galant cost 1048.
