Capitalism is what has brought us better standard of living. Many other countries other than America are poor countries some are still developing countries which are poor and were not caused by capitalism but instead caused by bad government and kleptocracies, the great depression was made worse by the central planning of Herbert Hoover and FDR. Being poor does suck, but I would rather be poor in America with better standard of living then in Zimbabwe, Mexico or Philippines.

I agree that Capitalism has brought us a better standard of living in spite of the gov't's supposed management of the capitalist system. I have nothing to argue against in your comment.

I just hope people see that nation building is not a part of the free market either. Gov't can't exist side-by-side a free market. It just isn't possible. Gov't's purpose is central management: whether it's via the military industrial complex, managing our personal lives, or via taxes/tariffs makes no difference.

Statists believe in creating wealth out of thin air - through the Federal Reserve.

I love the spear/basket explanation of Capitalism. Capitalism is a PERFECT SYSTEM. Why would we need gov't to screw it up?

Why are tax dollars necessary? Explain that to us!

Bill, you need to find libertarianism. Send me a message about your concerns, and I'd be happy to convert you.
