I never had problems w/ it. I did sell it and bought a Silent Partner because it can hit topspin and backspin along w/ all of the other features. Tennis ball machines hold their value much better than other things. I was actually able to sell mine at a profit because I purchased it used so cheaply. I expect if I want to upgrade again, I'd get at least 75% of what I paid for my current one new. There are very few working parts and the only thing that ever seems to go wrong is the battery.
