Blue Moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own
Blue Moon
You know just what I was there for
You heard me saying a prayer for
Someone I really could care for

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked to the Moon it turned to gold

Blue Moon
Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

And then there suddenly appeared before me
The only one my arms will ever hold
I heard somebody whisper please adore me
And when I looked the Moon had turned to gold

Blue moon
Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

Blue moon
Now I'm no longer alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

  • Blue Moon Was Written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart in 1934. So, Who Ripped off who?

Why can't people just enjoy Music, Without their Racial obsessions, Sinatra, Ella, So Many artist covered this song, It would be impossible to list it here. Before the Emanons.

  • Wait a minute: the Marcels and the Emanons (if the photo is authentic) were African-American, both. The song is, of course, by white authors. Just pointing out, it takes two ("races") to tango and it takes a lot of critters to make Farmer Fletcher's Fritters. Ouch! Too bad the "races" separated, musically, after Disco, during the Reagan decade. Nobody gained. Big mess. No good music. Lotta ugly noise, kemosabe.

  • THIS is music! Beauty True song!

  • Can anyone upload Change of Time by this group it's the only one I haven't heard. It's the B side of Hindu Baby !

  • not this exact version

  • lol this is sthe song on fallout 4 teaser trrailer

  • This is hysterical - I had the exact same thought of your first six words - including "Wow!" first. LOL. I love the Marcel's version, as well.

But these guys are the very essence of Doo Wop harmony. The harmony is rich, smooth, mellow - highly rhythmic - acapella for this song would probably work very well for this group.

I love both versions. I'm glad I heard this one .

    Thank YOU RoverTCB

for posting. You "did" handle your business.

  • wow what adifferent version from the marcels it's really nice to hear alternatives though personel prefrence i much prefer the marcels but thanks anyway

  • Thanks for posting-This. I had never heard the Emanons (No Names spelled-backwards) Version before ... just read-about-It , in Record Collector's Books.

  • Thanks for clarifying. It's good to learn! I think I was right with the Emanons being the original in terms this songs recorded in doo wop style.
