  • shot them all haha

  • Continued..."The settlement follows a $180,000 FTAA payout that Miami agreed to last year -- money that went to Carl Kesser, an independent Miami filmmaker who was seriously injured when police fired a 'less-lethal' beanbag at his head. The beanbag lodged under Kesser's skin near the eye, causing nerve damage and partial paralysis on one side of his face."

Carl Kesser was filming a documentary on how professional the MPD was. Oops. Why not to idolize thuggish Miami cops...

  • A 11/22/03 Miami Herald article indicated many charges had already been thrown out.

    Another from 10/12/07 said:

"Miami city commissioners on Thursday approved...the largest legal settlement to date stemming from police conduct during 2003's FTAA summit.

The half-million-plus payout, to be funded by Miami, Miami-Dade County, Hialeah and the Broward Sheriff's Office, will be split among 21 FTAA protesters who alleged that heavy-handed police violated their constitutional rights...

  • Dear Saiga "has a boy crush on the Miami PD" 762x39mm,

The protestors acted peacefully and largely within the limits of the law, including the unconstitutional ones passed by the City of Miami for that day only (later rescinded). All arrests were thrown out by the courts, indicating their stance on the issue. It was the police themselves that initiated and escalated the violence that day.

You may now return to searching YouTube for videos of "sexy shirtless cops"...

  • Hey dumbass/Saiga..., they had a permit, and even followed the route that the police changed from the previously approved route one day before the protest.

Read the First Amendment to the U.S Constitution--thankfully the Bill of Rights protects the right to peaceably assemble regardless of whatever opinions idiots like you hold. Real Americans defend all the Constitution, not just the Second Amendment...

  • way to take one for the team

  • you darn activists should have done your protest through the middle of liberty city..those blacks would of had you for lunch....then we would have had to protect you..

  • you white kids...should just say thank you....do you really think we were going to let you white brats..that obviously take our liberties for granted...destroy are city...not on our watch....

  • Good I hope you get shot by the police. You people would hand our liberties over. Some day I will see your kind hanging from trees.

  • Yeah well they should start protecting us instead of attacking us. Fascist Pigs.
