Ive tried to do this for the last few weeks and Im at throwing stage, when I go back throw my original knots they are coming undone. I should have known it wouldnt be as easy as you make out in the videos
My great-grandmother and grandmother had some of these when I was a small child. I never saw them making them but....seeing this video...it was like....seeing information that I already knew...it was very strange lol...I can't wait to try to make one of these for the kitchen...it'll remind me of them everytime I see it. :)
Are you left handed? I tried this technique, but I found it easier to work on the right side, because I'm right handed. Thanks for the video, it's REALLY helpful :)
from what i can see in the video, the "tool" is a safety pin that has red masking tape on the end without the pin, so that she can fasten the end of the fabric to the safety pin on the pin side and feed it through the rug with the dull side.

How do you keep the rug edges from curling up?
Also I use a big paper clip as my tool--the material simply slips on and off with ease! Thank you-your instructions are great

Yes, are you left handed?? And also, what is that tool you are using? Could we use a large safety pin instead?

Hello, I wish you could do a video on oval corners for these rugs....I recently moved and I purchased instruction and the movers lost it....
