  • Great song! Great voice!

But I agree with some people below. You should have said "Happy Lunar New Year" or "Happy Tet". "Happy Chinese New Year" gives obvious impression that we celebrate THEIR new year while they are about to rob islands and sea from Vietnam. What a shame!

  • @greygooseontherock Yep, well to be honest with you i didnt intentionally say CHINESE new year... it just came out that way because I didnt grow up around many vietnamese people so i just called it what everyone else did. I can see your point, but I just want to say that i didnt say it with the intention of offending anyone and I'm sorry if I have. I'm sure none of us can say we are politcally correct 100% of the time!!

  • @greygooseontherock But I have taken note and will be more careful in what I say.. I just want to make song covers and enjoy the music.. im not here to argue or ruffle anyones feathers! Last of all I wanted to say thank you - for bringing up the issue in ur comment in a mature way with polite language.. i appreciate it!

  • are you guys australian?

  • @davidnguyen20 hey david!!! Yes we are australian... hehe and proud of it!!! =)

  • @anonamese I celebrate both Chinese and Vietnamese new year and I thought I covered both celebrations by saying Chinese new year and chuc mung nam moi.

Hi, I think you should just drop the topic and enjoy the video for what it's worth. I'm pretty sure Dani and Dung did not upload this video intending to "cross - culture", like you have mentioned. Can't we just sit back, relax, and enjoy some beautiful music? Actually WE can, I don't know about you though.. obviously...

  • @madzam We Vietnamese and Korean do not celebrate chinese new year. We celebrate Lunar New Year (TET) because Vietnam, China and Korea use the same LUNAR CALENDAR. Very ignorant and stupid of this girl to open her mouth and say happy Chinese New Year and she just came back from a chinese New Year celebration when she's Vietnamese. What happen to Tet and hoi cho Tet? It's unfair to the Vietnamese and Korean when people say it's chinese new year.

  • its her video, she can say watever the fuck she wanna say, happy chinese new year, lunar new year or vn new year, doesnt matter. There is nothing to be a shame about, so enjoy the music, leave a constructive feedback or get out, stop crying like bitches.

  • Very captivating video. I've listened to it many times now. Thank you and happy new year to you too. Often people nit pick too much on the little stuff and miss out on the big picture and all the joy in life. cheers!

  • Dung does look like Trinh Lam (in Thuy Nga Paris by night). just that he's skinnier but his face look so much like Trinh Lam.

  • It is not chinese new year !!! It is lunar new year. Thank you
