When I was in Killarney in 2006, I met Jimmy in his pub in the morning at a cup of coffee. I was wondering if I could sing there that night. "Just sing something..", he said. I did, and he said: "Bring your guitar tonight and sing." Then he started singing a fine old song himself, a capella, as he does now. I hope he is still singing wonderfully. I sang in his pub till the late hours, with a fine audience.
