Agreed... its owed to them... its really no different then music artists collecting their royalties and due payment from iTunes... a new medium or revenue channel for their art and efforts.

A writer that wants to share in the billions of dollars of profits from DVD sales and internet downloads that are made from movies HE WROTE is not a primadonna. He is someone that wants what is rightfully his. Studios are just distributors. They can take their percentage, like a manager or agent. The rest is for the creators.

Dude, just go to Hollywood and scab. Fuck the WGA. They CHOSE to let their contracts expire and CHOSE to walk away in protest. It's time for fresh blood!!! Studios are drawing up paperwork as we speak. They are moving on without the primadonnas.
