Even though blue collar men may make lots of money, their jobs don't have status recognition. So women will be less interested. They can't parade a high paid sanitation worker around to their friends as a trophy husband like they would a doctor, lawyer or executive. Yes, women are shallow like men are, just in a different way.

There have always been women who become increasingly desperate for marriage to "good men" as they get older. It is nothing new and it isn't just black women. You can read about this same stuff in 19th century Victorian British novels. There are always lots of men chasing sex with young women and lots of aging women looking to marry Prince Charming.

LOL, only 9 percent of black women marry interracially whereas 24 percent of black men marry out. Black women hype interracial dating with white men all the time. The problem is that white men don't want black women.

@Tsugua21 I am saying people seldom mention a few realities on this topic. There is a lot of delusion and too many myths about income. One is that a lot of these "professional" black women with degrees earn $30k - $40k a year whilst there are many blue collar workers,sanitation workers; prison guards; linemen; longshoremen; construction workers; even janitors earning more than TWICE their salaries. (I may make a video on this topic soon).
