Sky tv are greedy bastards. I joined Sky tv when they first started around 1988 in analogue and then switched to Sky Digital in 1998. They over charge for their TV and now only rich people can afford it. Most people don't have £65 per month to spare. So I watch Al Jaz Sport now, their 12 month subscription is only £98 per year and you get all great live football and other sports. I love to see people hacking Sky tv. Keep hacking them and make them reduce their prices, they are greedy bastards.

@alexdams77 der hackt den reciver mit einer Starview 7-Box. Die kriegste für ca. 700€ online. Dann brauchst du noch eine software, die du bei Starview aufspielst; die kannst du meines wissens nach aber nirgendwo downloaden oder kaufen.

Wenn du das alles hast, kriegst du ein TV-Bild von Sky, aber das hält höchstens 1ne Minute, dann musste die software wieder neu aufspielen

I contacted sky to ask what the cheapest package would cost, the hard sell was appalling, despite me telling the guy I only wanted the basic package I couldn't get a price out of him, all he kept using were lines like 'based on what you tell me I would recommend Sky Premium Movies or lines to that effect. In the end I cut the connection and will stay with Freeview, if the hardsell is that bad when you are only enquiring I dread to think what I would get if I was a customer.

Card sharers and pay servers are the scum that killed a great enthusiasts hobby.

Al Jazera Sports is an option but it's shyte compared to Sky as is CS.

If you want reliability and quality of service then sub to Sky. If you want to be ripped of by disappearing CS servers with constant breakdowns, freezing & risk jail then that's your choice. Either way you are PAYING and you get what you pay for in this world.
