This video is glitchy and iI cannot play it, perhaps it is just me or my computer but I was dissapointed that I could not watch the video as this film is a favourite of mine.
There are so many good old actors in it.

This might surprise a few: When R. L. Stevenson wrote Treasure Island it was based on the town of Dana Point CA!

This film was a favorite of the French Nouvelle Vague and was recently rather high on the list of the 100 best films ever made according to French critics. I agree, though I'm not French.

I have worked for the kid in this movie.His name is Jon Whiteley.He`s an academic,based at the Ashmolean in Oxford,and one of the nicest people you could wish to meet!

this is an amazing classic movie. fans of Disneys original Treasure Island will enjoy it.
