David Suchet interview

This is a behind the scenes interview with DAVID SUCHET - "Insp. Poirot" of the Agatha Christie series. During the making of the new "Murder on the Orient Express" video game. I was lucky enough to put together the B.T.S. for the project.

He's not acting Poirot, he IS Poirot!

What Suchet did is that he will be always remembered as only and true Poirot. Even after hundreds of years this thing is unlikely to be changed. I believe it is his way to gain immortality and he did it.

What Jeremy Brett was to Holmes, Suchet is to Poirot......They just sprang out of the pages of the books...too bad Sir Doyle and Madam Christie weren't alive to see how the characters created by them came to life!!!

Whenever I read Poirot, I hear David Suchet speaking in my head. He is perfect. I honour him very much for this

@pyramidiot1 I disagree - Albert Finney is a great actor, but he was quite miscast as Poirot. In my eyes, and the eyes of many (including Agatha Christie's own descendents), Mssr Suchet presents a definitive portrayal of Hercule Poirot.
