The myth of Robert Johnson as told by Castiel's host. Sort of.
I found this awesome clip of Misha Collins (ie Castiel) in ER talking about the Robert Johnson myth. Seeing as how there was a Supernatural episode on the subject back in season 2 and now I had a clip of "Castiel's host" discussing it... Yeah, it just had to be done. And as far as I know it hasn't yet... Sorry about the volume around 0.22. My clip's sound glitched on me.
Before you say anything, yes, now that we've met Castiel's host (SEASON 4x20 'The Rapture' spoilers!) I can't really see him acting like this, but I made this previous to that. So use your imaginations and let me know what you think!
Dialogue:
"You familiar with this guy? Robert Johnson?"
"Not really."
"Eric Clapton? Jimmy Page? Keith Richards?"
"Well yes, of course."
"Ok. There's a direct line between Robert Johnson and every dude who's ever picked up a Gibson. Robert Johnson IS American music."
"You know they say he sold his soul to the Devil?"
"Really? Why?"
"Well he wanted to be the best. And he was."
"So that makes it worth it?"
"...Kinda depends on your opinion of the Devil."
"I think it's a made up story."
" 'Course it is! That's the best kind."
^_^
I've told this story many times on camping trips and the 27 club one of my friends freaked out we could hear a dog bark coming from one of the houses near the area XD in the end she had to go home brilliant night out though bunch of kids scared out of there wit we played on it a bit to scare the poor girl we pretended we couldn't hear the dog and it means that they are coming for her (most of my buddies are guitarists) so it was a night of paranoia suspense and a bit of drinking :)

Cool video. I was reading a book about popular music today and part of it was talking about how Robert Johnson played an influential role on the great guitarists in rock. Thanks to "Supernatural" I had a reference point for him otherwise I would have been totally clueless
