I find this atmosphere more like splinter cell/ call of duty/ GI JOE. Except metal gear came way before splinter cell when it comes the game being on nintendo.

You just get the figure if you just tranquilize the boss, not if you kill them.

It's a good thing that Vamp had Fortune's railgun modified later for better handling. In MGS2, if you call Rose, she'll tell you why Fortune was literally the ONLY person able to handle that weapon at the time. During MGS2 it was only a prototype and very deadly; Even for the person using it. But as we all know, Fortune WANTED to die so I doubt she cared about the risk.
By the time CW and Snake got their hands on it, they fixed it's problems and recoil issues and added laser-sighting
