This is what i did after my disasterous attempt at a natural (yogurt, coconut creme, coconut oil) relaxer.
Also my mini review of Oyin Handmade's Whipped pudding (which is ok) and their Twist stuff (Actually called, Shine and Define) (which really works and I enjoy)

  • Thanks for the warning. Looking for ways o manage this transition and it is scaring me shitless! Any ideas on what to do?

  • @TameikaGlen Girl its really not that bad. There are plenty of ppl on here who have transitioning tips. I would just remind you that the point between where the perm meets the natural hair is the weakest point in the hair shaft so pay close attention to that juncture. Keep it moisturized and curly style, like a bantu knots out disguises your two textures. - That worked for me.

  • and i dont believe that can stuff is good the natural nut blended and left overnight is the best to use, that can stuff looks like junk

  • You're right. the stuff in the can is awful.

  • just STOP! if nothing you've done works why do you keep playing SCIENCE FAIR on your hair and posting useless unhelpful VIDEOS ????? buy a wig and call it a day wear a wig for couple months and im sure your natural hair will be healthier and longer ;)

  • @gypsyboyb23 How is telling you what NOT to do, a waste of anyone's time. People learn from my mistake and dont do it themselves. I would WANT someone to WARN me before I did something potentially damaging to my hair, that is all I am doing. PS. it's my hair. I can play science fair, I can cut it, I can do what I like bc, it is MINE. Thanks 4 watching.

  • Umm, your Video title kinda seems misleading, you did your own version of the coconut mixer... Rule of thumb, whenever trying a recipe out, it's always good to follow recipe to the letter. Then second attempt at the recipe, you can make adjustments.... Not to be critical, but thanks for showing us what not to do...

  • its not good to experiment on your hair my dear i learnt the hard way, but real coconut NOT the "can" one worked really great for my hair i did it sunday and my hair is still moisturized and i didnt spend two hrs with it i only spent 20 minutes under a hooded dry, it is not recommended to leave protein so long you are asking for trouble be it coconut eggs whatever

  • Girl, it was a disaster for me too. I tried it about a yr ago. My hair felt different, about 10 times worse. It was extremely dry, tangly, crunchy, FRAGILE and felt coated with something.

  • @briggsshari2 What is interesting is that I have a video praising the effect that Beautifulbrownbabydoll has had on me. and praising blackonyx's haircare line and a whole entire video expressly trying to convince curlychronicals to NOT leave youtube, yet you think im negative. Your opinion is not entirely based in fact. And I hope that you do find what you are looking for. and if skipping my videos is part of it, then so be it.
