In the the whole scheme of things, it is.

It's "When They Cry 3", succeeding Higurashi Kai, which is "When They Cry 2."

Higurashi is one of the best animes I have ever watched, if anyone know something worth comparing, please let me know, I'll definitely check that out :)

It's really good if you're into psychological horror anime. The main focus of the anime is when the characters breaks down, and goes insane. If you have a lot of questions as to why they did what they did in the first season, don't worry - all the questions are answered in the 2nd season, (hence why the 1st season is named the questions arc, and why the 2nd is named the answers arc).
