While this film was responsible for Mr Cussler refusing to ever let anyone make movies of his books, it is a fun show. But, like virtually all James Bond movies (Ian Fleming), if you changed the title and names of the characters nobody might never guess it was based on a book by Clive Cussler. My choice for Sandecker, were he alive, would be Gene Evans.

and if the uploader of this clip haasnt read any dirk pitt novels by clive cussler, you wouldnt properly understand the movie.

the only problems i have with this movie are that Zahn as Giordino does NOT fit the descriptions of Al in the book-Al's a short powerfully built kind man with somewhat long black hair&Rudi is a little tougher than they made his character, but they didnt do too bad with Dirk and Sandecker.
