Lawd Have Mercy this is beautiful!

This is what I call "gut music". You just couldn't half-step singin' this joint. Mama was throwing down BIG-TIME. I adore singers like this.

They squalling on this one!

Actually there was alot of gospel like this. They sound a lot like the Davis Sisters of Philadelphia. But still a nice sound.

As an agnostic wayward member of the tribe of Judah, this one crushes me. Exploding vibrating female lead, with much edge to spare, coupled with crisp vocal harmony injections, flavored heavily with the do-wop r&b attack. much cross polination between the genres made for some outstanding sound. Best believe I'll be sharing this find with others. The legacy is is so rich with with obscure gems, it's one more source of beauty in an all too often ugly world. Sincere gratitude for this post.

We just don't do music like this anymore! Any info on the backup singers? They made me take my shoe off at the end. :)
Hope you don't mind, this has been added to my favorites.

Of course I don't mind that you added this to your favorites. I'm not sure about the group members off the top of my head, but I can look into it
