@FLERT1456 nothing to worry about, sounds like the bus sends have been renamed in Pro Tools, as long as you choose the same bus (no matter what it is called) when routing from one track to another it should work just fine.
-
@CloudedMoonBeats yo why when i try to bus a track..all that pops up is reverb or delay sterio .not bus 1.2 etc please help

@MaKkIStYlEDxB ahh, youtube is blocking me from posting the link, just google "optimize windows 7 for protools" and it should be the first link google shows.
Why put plugin on aux channel and feed it to another channel rather than insert on the channel you are recording? Does that cause you to record wet and not have a dry uncompressed version to work with? Needs a bit more explanation why 1 vs other.

@jrichview so the method I'm showing you is going to record the signal with the compression, so you would not have a dry version recorded. Most professionals record this way because they are confident in their ability to compress the signal just a little bit (enough to control any loud peaks). this saves on system resources that would normally be eaten up by running a compressor on each track...hope this helps clear things up.
