  • Most people don't realize that you can still be a genius despite a mental illness. The fact that he can interpret the orchestra's score in such a way and play all those instruments perfectly is testament that he's not a lost cause. We need to re-evaluate how we treat the mentally ill.

  • Great stories like these are why i love 60 minutes...

  • Nathaniel is a great musician . Try to play trumpet, violin , cello and contrabass anytime soon.....

  • i dont understand how people can listen to what this man is saying and thing it is just jibberish. His descriptions of Beethoven, his tunnel, and music in general are GENUIS once you actually take the time to think about what he is saying.

  • He just needs to sit down with the Tuning CD.

  • did mr. lopez say this is the relationship he earned the most from?

  • wow

  • Downey and fox were both perfect for the parts

  • the soloist is an exelent book. i had to read it for school summer reading . i really don't like to read but this was one of those books that you just can't put down. it is an amazing story. it is crazy that this is real.

nathaniel ayers is a phenomenal musician! :)

  • I thought this movie, when i first saw it was a fucking downer, but then when i researched this guy, i realized how exaggerated the movie was and that i didn't have all the acts
