The Frank Ski Kid's Foundation host several charity functions, one of which is the Semi-Annual Local Legends Luncheon hosted by foundation president Tanya Rodriquez Ski. During the luncheon several graduating high school young ladies from the surrounding counties are honored with gifts and a scholarship from the foundation. Also, two "legends" are honored in their chosen careers.
This year's Local Legends were Charmaine Ward, Director of Community Affairs at Georgia Pacific and Kandi Burruss, song writer and vocalist of the Platinum group Xscape.
