This Public Service Announcement describes our Canines for Combat Veterans program that was established at NEADS in 2006 to support returning, wounded Veterans from the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. To-date, 15 service men and women have graduated from the Canines for Combat Veterans program. We want to help more Veterans and civilians who have a disability gain a measure of independence and mobility through the use of highly trained assistance dogs and welcome your interest in our programs. If you want to link to our PSAs, please visit www.neads.org and look to NEADS TV for the 'link to us' instructions.
