Ok this is for beginners that are getting in the Fridrich method. Dont watch if you dont know what the PLL is in the slightest sense then this video is obviously not going to benefit from this video. Enjoy and I hope this helps I worked about 2 hours strait Just recording and editing this video so appreciate a little. If you have any questions please ask me or i wont know if this is helping you or not then I can make it better

This is for people that are getting to learn more of the Fridrich method and want to learn some PLL's (a little slower then all PLL's)
Okay what I first tell you and show you in this video is that the full PLL is much faster then the 2 look PLL. So i really consider you to learn all of them but please LEARN THE 2 LOOK FIRST. These are the most common, and the algorithms that will stick to your mind after you learn them.
This step is the last step/part of the Fridrich method where you permute the last layer (PLL).

Alg.:
A(a)/Clockwise corner cycle:(l' U R')D2(R U' R')D2 R2

E/Corner swicher:x'(R U')(R' D)(R U R')u2(R' U)(R D)(R' U' R)

U(b)/Counter clockwise edge cycle:(R U' R U)(R U)(R U')(R' U' R2)

U(a)/Clockwise edge cycle:(R2 U)(R U R' U')(R' U')(R' U R')

H/Opposite sdge cycle:(M2 U)(M2 U2)(M2 U)M2

Z/Diagonal edge cycle:(M2 U M2 U)(M' U2)(M2 U2 M' U2)

Right after OLL, the algorithm you want to use with 2 like colors in the back face and the Algorithm is: A(a) Permutation case:(l' U R')D2(R U' R')D2 R2

If no colors are alike then use E permutation case: x'(R U')(R' D)(R U R')u2(R' U)(R D)(R' U' R)

Links to PLL Pages that I recommend and you might notice that Fridrich's page is not located in this list because her algorithms are very bad and way to complicated to learn.

This first link is badmephisto's page, he made himself, it is by far the greatest PLL page and it has, case names, diagrams, rankings of difficulty to learn, algorithms, and comments on memorization. http://www.cdf.toronto.edu/~g6karpat/plls/pll.html

This next 1 is a page maintained by Bob Burton, a Rubiks cube expert its a good page u should look because theres comments on execution. Ant at the bottom of his page there are links to other PLL pages by other people and Jessica Fridrich's is there but Im not going to list it in the list so once you click on hers you will see what Im talking about.
http://www.cubewhiz.com/pll.html

Next we have Dans cube site, he also is a very well known cuber from UK. Its an ok site but u should look anyways.
http://www.cubestation.co.uk/cs2/index.php?page=3x3x3/cfop/pll/pll

Last 1 we have is maintained by Lars Vandenberg, a very well known speed cuber but the web page only shows diagrams and algorithms so not to great but very good algorithms. go check them out.

  • @pandiplump That depends on what you want. If you want to be fast, learn them. You see at the beginning of the video that full PLL is faster than two-look. If you want to be relatively fast with learning as few algorithms as possible, don't learn them. If you practice, two-look PLL can be pretty fast, also because it's easier to recognize and work with just headlights. So it depends on what you're aiming for.

  • Hey!

If you haven't noticed you say x-prime on the E alg

    But it's just a normal x

  • would you recommend learning the full pll after learning this to improve your time?

  • lolz best vocie ever........

  • subscribed !!!

Thank you for your clear explanation

  • Thanks realy much! 5/5 and subscribed!

  • I made a Channel for the PLL's...I will get to OLL's and a lot of other stuff aswell so go check that out if your still wanting to learn the PLL's...

    Channel Name: xXCxUxBxExRXx

  • Slow down your solves, if you have trouble with the look-ahead, but if you have trouble with the cases, then it jus takes some getting use to.

  • i need to practise f2l i suck at it but i don't know how to practise ;(

  • now u can make a tutorial to full pll if you want to
