The physical sufferings of Christ was very powerful, but the physical suffering couldn't compare to what was going on in his mind. the cup Jesus drank was the WINE OF THE WRATH OF GOD WHICH IS POURED OUT FULL MEASURE ON SIN AND SINNERS. He was feeling separation from His FATHER. the separation we will ALL FEEL IF WE DO NOT ACCEPT JESUS AS LORD AND SAVIOR. JESUS ENDURED THE SCOURGING AND THE SEPARATION SO WE PRAISE GOD DO NOT HAVE TO!! HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE IF WE NEGLECT SO GREAT SALVATION??

sorry bub the bible states he was marred more than any man.you take beatings on the head by the romans then flogged with a special indtrument they used it had bone chips and little metal dumbells, im sore it was 20 or more.that rippped the flesh out causing deep lacerations.then the crown of thorns placed vigorously on his head and then they beat him on the head and face.loss of blood made another carry the cross.at last the crucifixion,nails on both wrists and feet.the movie was true

Brother, I meant no offense by my previous statement about the Sabbath. I believe that Jesus Christ is our Sabbath and if more people would present Jesus Christ in ALL His fullness and not just the 7th day sabbath, we could set the world on fire with His love!
