Just a quick video of Emerald Hill Zone being played in Sonic Classic Collection for the DS. Only the top screen is shown because the bottom screen is BORING. I tried to show off some of the quirks of this version, such as the raised pitch when using speed boots, and some camera oddities. I didn't bother with the special stage, because it's about the same as always.

Sorry for the low video quality, I'm still figuring out the best settings for CamStudio. If there's any demand for it, I'll probably make videos of other games in the collection as well.

  • OH GOD I GOT THE 7 CHAOS EMERALD AND BEATED THE GAME IN SONIC 2...

i cant do nothing i can just start a new one or go to the last boss again...

how i can start the game again whit the 7 caos emerald?

  • @MrShadowxtreme Just like in the original Sonic 2, there is no way to start the game over with all emeralds. This can only be done in Sonic 3, or Sonic and Knuckles locked onto Sonic 3.

  • how do u record on ds?

  • @tailsthefox8studios Didn't record on DS. I used an emulator.

  • @MrShadowxtreme you can use cheats for level select and super sonic

  • @yamipegasus NOOOOOOOOO D:

  • I'll say this now: Seeing this, and when you purchase this compilation, you'll witness that there are NO vibes of Sonic Genesis in it! HALLELUJAH! lol XD

  • they need to make one with the classics and gameboy games put together

  • @formalmess It can be decent if you've got a powerful enough system, and depending on the game. Sonic Classic Collection runs about as well on my PC as it does on an actual Nintendo DS or DS Lite.

  • Aside from some minor sound emulation problems this actually doesn't look that bad.

  • @Alxinho959 On the DS, yes, it can. On the SEGA Genesis it can't. However, when you save it, it starts you from the BEGINNING of the level you saved at.
