You're so right about these video games These idiots equate graphics with realism.
Nothing kills me more than the New Ace Combat game. When I saw the stills for that game I actually had a stupid moment and said hmmm maybe they've finally created a real steel air combat simulator for the consoles that looks and plays realistic.
BOY was I dissappointed when i saw the damn trailer. I personally blame the jack-offs in Hollywood more and more games are going for over the top movie type effects

I'm a huge fan of both Arma 2 and Battlefield 3. I don't take BF3 very seriously however, and I'm not a hardcore gamer. I have fun playing it with my friends, but I'd never consider it anything remotely close to realistic. It's a neat little cinematic, Hollywood style war game.
I am enlisting (National Guard) after I get a degree, and it's unfortunate that I'll probably be going to BCT with fresh-out-of-high school kids who really just want to have something to add to their Facebook ego.
