I'm sure all the opera buffs were in raptures over Villazon's technique.....before he promptly lost his voice. So please stop pontificating about technique.

sorry but Carusso...who the fuck is Mccormick, Lanza?? and Pavaroti not Pavrotti...would be rolling in their craves covering their sacred ear drums from being pulverized with this mother fucker's voice. So don't say names when is evident you don't know nothing and when this kid sings as horrible as himself... Come on! for good sake he sucks big time.

Very good. Very talented young man. Better than Pavarotti? I don't think so. He sounds like a baritone. Pavarotti was a Leggiero tenor & had a higher range.

@mayfree78 It's a simple statement of fact. Opera isn't a style of singing or some song sung in Italian. It's a theatrical production with costumes, makeup, staging, props, etc. Mark has never sung in an opera in his life. Calling Mark an "opera sensation"is like calling someone who doesn't play baseball a "baseball sensation."

He is not an "opera sensation." Opera singers sing in operas. They don't just sing an aria or two in a pop concert.
