@RupertEricshin I visited Sydney, if you had read my post properly. Nice place, but the country could do with its own head of state. It's a bit awkward when the Aussies are playing the Ashes and their head of state is cheering the other team.
Good to hear about the Muslims, but it's not just them, even the migrants from other countries cause trouble. As you probably know, a lot of Caribbean migrants were involved in the riots. Your politicians are too lenient on migration and let anyone in.

@RupertEricshin I presume that 3 of these 7 countries are the UK, Canada and Australia (New Zealand might also be there). Apart from the UK, Canada, Aus and NZ were colonized by Britain and had its land stolen from the natives after they were all but wiped out in genocidal *AHEM* land grabs. Naturally these countries are now stable because the natives have been suppressed and the 'locals' are all descendants of the colonists. I guess the other monarchies are the ever-stable Nordic countries.

@SinhaHelaya Constitutional monarchies make up 15% of the countries of the world; on all the evidence they outperform politicians’ republics.
Out of the Top Ten best governed countries on the planet, 7 were Constitutional Monarchies.
Where in Australia did you visit..Queensland? Well it's all the "Queens" land isn't it.
Muslims in Britain will never gain a foothold because our Monarchy wouldn't allow it, being the Supreme Governor of the Church of England and Commander of the Armed Forces.
-
@RupertEricshin The UK is also a constitutional MONARCHY. Any kind if monarchy isn't a real democracy (ie, a republic) with its own head of state. I visited Sydney recently and I noticed that Aussie currency had illustrations of BRITISH nobility, and a lot of their place names were also derived from Britain. It felt a lot like a colony.
BTW a word of advice: you guys are way too lenient on those fanatical Islamic migrants in your own backyard. Don't say we didn't warn you. Remember the riots.

@SinhaHelaya Great Britain is a Parliamentary Democracy...the oldest in the world infact. Power in the UK is invested in the elected Parliament and Prime Minister. The monarchy has virtually no power whatsoever and instead acts as a unifying national figurehead. The only power the monarchy does have is to protect democracy should it ever be threatened. An example of this was the coup attempt which occurred in Spain in 1981 when the King stepped in to restore democracy.

@RupertEricshin And you still haven't answered my questions about the place Tamils have in Sri Lankan society. And here's another thing: Tamils (or anyone for that matter) are allowed to buy land wherever they want in Sri Lanka. However, non-Tamils aren't allowed to buy land in the northern Jaffna peninsula. There are barely any non-Tamil students in universities in Tamil-dominated areas, while Tamils are free to enroll in universities in Sinhalese areas.
Who's really discriminating here? ;)

@RupertEricshin 20,000 my ass. That's the figure the mutts at the Times came up with the day after the UN failed in getting an inquiry into us. Prior to that, even the Times was going with the UN's figure of 7000 (a figure which the UN still stands by).
Britain a democracy? What kind of democracy has an unelected old hag as its head of state? The only time you had even a semblance of democracy was when Cromwell was running the show...and then you guys desecrated his corpse for it.

@SinhaHelaya Over 20,000 Tamil civilians were massacred in Mullaitheevu by government heavy shelling, the British usd no such tactics against the IRA or Irish Republican civilians. I'd call that Genocide.
Sin Fein are a political Party, nothing wrong with that....You see we in Great Britain live in a democracy where anyone can start up a political party without the worry of being persecuted.
-
@RupertEricshin The IRA decommissioned their weapons but Sinn Fein is still very much active. Contrast that to the LTTE's political wing which has now given up their demand for statehood. And if we really committed genocide, how come the vice-captain of the Sri Lankan cricket team is a Tamil? How come our best loved cricketer is a Tamil? How come 33% of Colombo's population is Tamil? How come Sri Lanka is one of only two countries in the world where Tamil is an official language? Research, mate.
-
@RupertEricshin But even after killing 1000 Taliban (who I agree are quite smelly) those terrorists are still active. You can never defeat those rats unless you get the civilians on your side. Not bombing entire villages to kill just one terrorist will help your cause in that regard,
wow, thats crazy one of the toughest and best in the world..
