Sarah Palin says Barack Obama has bad judgment for allegedly keeping ties with former terrorist Bill Ayers.

Palin's attack delivered on the McCain campaign's announcement that it would step up attacks on the Democratic presidential candidate with just a month left before the November general election.

"We see America as the greatest force for good in this world," Palin said at a fund-raising event in Colorado, adding, "Our opponent though, is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country."

Gil Smart fires back at Palin and the McCain campaign.

I think people have an innate tendency to become passive and docile when they enjoy a comfortable standard of living. In America, almost anyone can be successful without necessarily having to be intelligent. Even minimum wage workers enjoy a higher standard of living than people in other parts of the world. In my opinion, Palin supporters are people who have had it good and have had their narrow minded philosophy work in the past. It's not that America is stupid, it's just Palinites
