I have some corrections to make on your comments my friend. First of all, how in the fuck is the su-22 going to lock onto a target without a radar and infra red friend or foe indicator? same goes for the mig 29. They both have radar that are just as effective as western radar technologies. Their medium range and bvr missiles match western capabilities. Oh and also a point, in the wars you mentioned earlier, the f-15 pilots happened to be flying against the mig 21,

so if you ask me, its lie putting a tiger and a house cat in a fight, then when the tiger wins, you assume that a tiger will also easily defeat a lion. so ill tell you what. when you realize that russion air force capabilites and western air force capabilities are in a stalemate, for the reason that where the west has weaknesses, the russions have strengths and vice versa. so there is a 50-50 chance that a f-15 would win a dogfight with a su-22.

I don't know about you guys, but that last bit from where the F-15 takes the missile hit to missile impact gives me chills. Knowing what it takes to assure the success of the mission, then the last moment is chilling. The Tu-160 is flying low, wings sweeping like a diving bird as its launch point comes up, coming out of the rising sun on the horizon, then the pitchup and bank to get away... then KABOOM!!! Just think how capable our worlds' militaries have become... come to this.
