this is old, simply because we now know that the sun is a product of electrical energy, yes those two elements are present, however, its core is actually cool, its actually cold... but the electric kinetic energy on its surface is what makes the sun hot

Some of the comments here are ridiculous. Of course the sun is electrical - everything is - but it's also a fusion reactor. A ball of gas one million miles across can't help but be massive and very hot and dense at its core. At those temperatures and pressures nuclear fusion reactions must occur. I'm no fan of nuclear power stations here on Earth (which are fission reactors, not fusion) but if nature chooses to use nuclear power then who am I to argue?

@TheFourman the temp gradient is backwards the surface cooler than the carona, impossible if energy is coming from inside, its an anode / cathode reaction powered by galactic birkland currents, the same as has been found connecting the sun to earth & other planets

Heat does not travel thorough 93 millions miles freezing cold space. The Suns heat is reproduced here on the Surface of the Earth. @ChillC You are absolutely correct ChillC The Sun is not a nuke furnace as is claimed by corporate owned, disinformation eggheads, like edward teller who ran the aec. This was done for energy baron profits and to enslave humanity to false quakademic theories which would ensure that the power mogers in control of this planet may enjoy this slave system as long as possible.

The Sun is an electro-magnetoc plasma sphere and does not radiate heat into space, being that space is freezing cold.
