she did not do anything wrong. a reporteer asked her is she though the length of the primary was hurting the democratic party. she said no and referenced other famous campaigns--first her husband in 1992, and the she mentioned rfk's assassination because everybody remembers it happening in June which illustrates the fact that hers was not the first campaign to go on that long. It was mentioned as a tool to remember lengths of previous campaigns.

Why isi it so damn difficult for politicians to say the words "I am sorry" they always seem to explain what they meant ,and add the obligatory "did not mean any offense" but rarely do I hear them say, "I did not mean any offense, it was not my intention to say ... and I am sorry for my remarks. Is it really that difficult to say I am sorry, or I apologize? And stop saying if I offended anybody, because you did and there is no need to make a statement "if I did" because you did!
