just found out last night on bbc4 night with mark knopfler, this is about the phone calls from the twin towers. makes me shed a few tears

@NobleHerold I suspect what loupy meant was that her voice was off and I agree, there are much better renditions of this. We're all spoiled by how angelic her voice is but she's human.

i first heard this beautiful song beleive it or not, on Imus.as his crew listened they sat there catatonicly,lost or at that place you rarley visit because it takes a gut wretching experience to get there.its truly sad that tragedy inspired this masterpiece.

I saw Emmylou 1x live, she was great. And I saw Mark 2x (Dire Straits & solo), he sucked in both shows. But this is a good performance.
