  • wtf mine doesnt hatch!! 8.5 ph 3 teaspoon salt per litre, 1/4 teaspoon on eggs, AND IT DOESNT HATCH

  • @davidloveco oh, when i said water i meant salt one :P

  • @SHITtina666 doubtful unless you added salt. Just wont happen without it.

  • @TheJRossmusic It's called a diapause - AFIK, there really isn't an upper limit provided the cyst does not get wet (not even a little) or too hot. This function (also seen in certain fish such as the kilifish) is of great interest to scientists studying cancer since it might be possible to place inoperable tumors into the same kind of statsis.

  • 30 years is amazing!! I read in a book that they could last for around 2 years in the dehydrated egg but i was doubtful. I will have to try this out, im quite interested in this type of stasis.
