A forest fire breaks out in Upper Michigan on May 20, 2009. 50 mile an hour winds along with hot dry conditions help fuel the fire spread a mile within a half hour of starting. 800 acres are scorched and 33 structures are damaged or destroyed including 21 homes. 500 people are evacuated from the area for the night and most of the following day.
