Chicago - Sufjan Stevens Cover - Unique

I first listened to this song after a funeral for someone I cared about. I played the song on repeat in a mall as I walked around dazed, confused, and upset. But in some way, this song helped me through it a little.

I think it is about the cycle of death and rebirth and living a wholesome life.

This is a cover of the Sufjan Stevens song that is based on playing by ear with MIDI on Sony AcidPro. All of the instrumentation except for the trumpet was played by programming the MIDI by ear.

Thank you to RevelingInReverie, a high school friend, for lending her fantastic voice and some pictures.

This has been a monumental project that took many, many hours... But learned much about music software and editing.
