Great work! Where did you get the adze? It looks just like the one sold by Drew Langsner at Country Workshops. How do you like it? Thanks!

I was saying to myself about 45 seconds into this....ok...where's the harmonica or the hammer dulcimer? It just ain't wood carving without them.

Tack, man ska vara lätt på hand! Jag vet,jag missade det där med den färdiga skålen. Nu när jag tänker efter tror jag att jag tog någon färdigbild, men den blev för dålig. Sedan blev det inte av. Tack för kommentaren!

wonderful craftsmanship! But it looks like the bowl is just sitting there while you use the adze. Is it bolted down, or clamped down? Or does the motion of the adze keep it steady?

@yugandali Hi, and thanks! I have two sticks/dowels sticking up in the bench im working on. I use them as a support. But it is always tricky to get it to stay where you want it. But it is not bolted down or anything.

How long did it take to hollow out the bowl?

@simonaris Sorry, I can´t say. It is a dry burl of birch, so my guess is that it took some time. I would have boiled it if it had fitted in a pan :) I guess it took hours...

Thank you so much for showing me how you did that! I never saw a tool like that. I am ready to experiment with making something with a burl now!
