EWS 37411 & 37425: A hellfire moment at Warrington Bank Quay

Does exactly what it says on the tin, hopefully!

On one of their first workings since reinstatement, EWS 37411 Caerphilly Castle and 37425 Pride of the Valleys, enter Warrington Arpley from Bank Quay, having worked the return Arpley to Blackburn goods.

Next they are seen heading off North of the station, to Edge Hill.

I have seen 37411 in Arpley Yard on countless occasions, but to be honest I haven't seen 37425 since Earlestown.

37425 is now stored, and 37411 is stuck in Arpley; it had a major engine failiure on the back end of February, and it looks like it won't be working for EWS again, unless the repairs can be carried out.

Keep your eyes peeled next time you're knocking around Bank Quay. You get the odd 37 there and then, but it won't last forever. Cheers Woolybak8.

I dunno, It was on the 18th October, i think, but they were on Platform 4, and it was a complete shock to me! I didnt have a clue about them!!!

Saw these as I passed Earlestown on a service to Manchester Piccadilly, when i was going to Stoke-On-Trent. They were in the Warrington from Newton line...
