I personally believe that it has more to do with being true to yourself as an individual....sticking to what is your truth. If you claim that your truth is that you are a good and caring person, then your intent and purpose is justified to the universe. If an animal harms another to keep from starving, then their intent is good. If your intent is to harm in a way that reflects your truth as a jealous, stupid, child, then your results will be as such. Very good topic as usual. :)

yh i see where your coming from like on a subconcious level we all think things that might harm another. We just choose not to act on those impulses directly. However indirectly things can still happen.

I agree with momcalzmesheri.... If your intention is to cause direct harm that is not right. You ask that harm does not occur, but I guess if it does they it is meant to be? IDK lol But u r right, looking in nature things are harming one another but I guess since humans can distinguish between right and wrong we "know" what harm and doing bad is so we should not.
just my thoughts

(part 2) however i also acknowlage that we are all human and make mistrakes so if unfortunately i did harm someone unintentionally like saying something hurtfull but not realising the way i came across or stepping on someones foot on accident i would apologise. As long as my inent is not in it, i see it as part of being a normal human.

I personally believe that "an it harm none" - it all goes back to intention. Are you purposefully intending to harm another? That's what I believe this tenet applies to.
And since I am a big Law of Attraction follower ... I believe that you do not experience ANYTHING unless you attract it into your life experience. There are no victims. You create the life experience you desire. You attract people, events and things into your life. You sent out a vibration and the Universe responds to that.

One other thing that I failed to mention, healing ritual to help someone is probably one of the few things that won't harm anyone else. If it does, then I don't see how.
Great video, by the way!
(part 1) I also view it as intention based. As far as harming a plant or an animal to consume, that is the basis for all nature for without we would starve without the correct balance of nutrition. However when i use "an it harm none" i look at it as i would never carry out a spiteful action on another. I would never perform an act that is horrible, fully knowing that the other person or animal would hurt from that. Now this can cover anything from verbal abuse, to physical and neglect.

@sagewiccan well, let me ask you this. If you fully know that it is impossible to go without harming another, then how can you go without? What I'm saying is, You say you don't want to intentionally harm anyone (this being the point behind the phrase), but yet you know, that no matter what you do, you will harm someone. So, in a way, you are still intentionally harming someone. Get what i'm saying?
